Volunteers Needed! This program cannot operate without you!

Helping Your Child's Team

Teams will not operate without the support of parents to volunteer to help lead their child's team. When registering your child, please consider volunteering to coach. We know that not everyone has soccer experience and that's OK. Being a team leader is extremely rewarding.

We provide new and existing leaders with support by introducing them to coaching with a skills workshop, identifying web resources to lead at all levels, and an app based platform to communicate with parents and coordinate the team.

Training will be provided by Astrid Baecker, Head Coach of the University of Regina Cougars Women's Soccer Team. Astrid will teach drills that you can use to help our players have fun while learning soccer.

If leading a team is not for you, there are other opportunities below to get involved!

Team Equipment & Jersey Assembly (a few weeks before the start of the season)

Volunteers are needed to help organize jerseys, balls, and other equipment into large carrying bags for each team's coach.

Time required is usually 1-2 hours. More hands make light work!

Wind-Up Tournament & BBQ (the last day of the season)

We host a wind up tournament and BBQ at the end of the season.

Volunteers are needed to help with shifts at the serving stations.

Time required is usually 1-2 hours. More hands make light work!

Parents

Cheer on your children and teens in a positive and fun way, providing good sportsmanship examples to all players.

Please be advised, parents or caregivers are ultimately responsible for supervision of their child(ren) at all times. South Regina Community Soccer Executive and Volunteers (Coaches and Assistants) are not responsible for supervision before, during or after games. Parents of the younger age groups are required to stay on the sidelines for the duration of the game.
